If you found new Shine1 for only 330, then go ahead, it is a good buy. This post has been edited by Human10: Oct 21 2012, 11:22 PM |

QUOTE(siles1991 @ Oct 22 2012, 12:01 AM) any exact changelog or updates? because paying rm100 extra just for diff backlit aint really worth it Act I never owns any shine model but I do for a while owned Ducky DK9087 Year of the dragon which I guess is an introduction for shine 2 maybe..So far I found tat this ducky yotd has a good solid built quality and I can say the quality is juz the same as Filco a wellknown brands for good and sturdy mecha keyboard..so as Barney stinson says 'New is always better' haha... |

QUOTE(siles1991 @ Oct 22 2012, 06:16 AM) Osmium??? actually i was wondering why are you considering all these "gaming mechanical keyboard" when you already have good choices such as FILCO, Ducky, Rosewill and etc. Well, if you want backlit, Ducky Shine v1 or v2 already can deliver that for you, unless you need those "macro keys" or media keys that are offered in those so called gaming mechanicals, else why pay more for something similar? |

Sadly I only got chance to play around with 9087 YOTD for a few minutes, Since Shine2 is about the same functions as YOTD, I can say that Shine2 has: - lowered height (from 9008G2pro) - more fancy backlit settings (from 9087 YOTD) conclusion? New bottom case for lowered height, you can't feel the difference difference I'd say, even for me who owned both. Would the customised backlit settings improve your typing experience? You might play with the settings during the first month but soon after, the next time you'll use it probably the time your friends came over. Of course need survey all choices since i'm forking out quite a bit to top up from my initial budget of rm250, remember I have not yet used a mechanical keyboard so I don't fully know the difference so cut me some slack.QUOTE(JohnDiew0107 @ Oct 22 2012, 11:22 AM) Seriously bro, If you're already looking at good mech kb manufacturers' stuff, don't look at those gaming brands already.
