voldmod it,add a better hsf and push it to the max damnit my 9550 cant go past 410 core b4 having artifacts

What 9550 u using there?
I think most 9550s can go more than that.
My Xpertvision stock clock is already more than that.
For my another sapphire, the core goes all the way up to 500 without artifacts.

mine's the plain vanilla 9550 by Triplex regretted not getting the Gecube 9550XT that time..how dumb of me i tried to 420 core max and it isint stable + a little artifacts edi

No choice but to voltmod it i guess.

if i want to upgrade to PCIE i hav to change everything so i'll wait till nx year n get a C2D oh yeah besides the stock cooler on my 9550 i have two 60mm fans blowing directly at my card too

yeap..vantec fan card help to cool the ram chips and the whole board basically..but still cant go over 420/520 i think i'll get a X800GTO and use it till mid next year or so then only change to pcie platform

Owhh...once tot of getting the fan card also, but after considering 9550 actually doesn't generate that much heat, gave up on that idea.
Did consider to add some ramsinks though. As the rams did not seem to clock very high.

i am planning to voltmod it oso...but sadly i cant find guideline on how to vmod it...

u don't think u can soft-mod your card, fren. ur 9550 is the the stock 9550 card. only extreme & XT edition have 9600 chip inside.

update ur driver, man...that might be the cause of your poor overclockability. what's ur current rig setup?
