How do open file insert to VB richtextbox in order to count accurate line in richtextbox not before open file count line

yes count how many lines of text in the textbox after open file from directory but after i open file into richtext it just count one line only

no it just count line in .txt not in my richtextbox...i want count line in my richtextbox after i input .txt. For example that .txt file is 2 lines then input to my richtextbox count 2 lines as well but my richtextbox is 4 lines
