ooo since sifu mat79 is here, would it be a good idea to chuck in a supercharger or turbocharger into a BLM in order to achieve better low end torque like how Preve CFE has a turbo?

What are the pros and cons you foresee?

Which would be the preferred choice, supercharger or turbocharger?

If wanted to go to that extend, I think my traditional way much cheaper/convenient

mahihi, if put turbo, shouldnt all parts in engine also need change? my opinion, need to change too because parts inside engine for NA. when put turbo, need to change to parts where it can thana the pressure. if turbo in NA engine, takut piston rod bengkok in long term

Disadvantages of turbocharging
■Turbo lag, especially on large turbos. A large turbo may give more peak power, but can take more time to spool up.
■Driveability may be compromised, particularly when the boost threshold is approached and suddenly a surge of power is too much for the tyres to cope with, causing understeer/oversteer (depending on which wheels are driven). This reduces the useable power band of the engine, and leads to more wear and tear on the drivetrain.
■Turbochargers are costly to add to NA engines, and add complexity. Adding a turbo can often cause a cascade of other engine modifications to cope with the increased power, such as exhaust manifold, intercooler, gauges, plumbing, lubrication, and possibly even the block and pistons.

soft boost bro soft boost bro,turbo can be done in 1k,but is potong turbine and piping oni,if not because of the ecu,i have do it so....the 1st fact u pointed out is already well known,so let's skip it to the 2nd point,dats oni applicable for large turbo like it said,soft turbo??neh....soft turbo i meant was oni 0.1-0.2 bar lo.....the pressure is not high enuff to have blow off sound....hehehe

p/s:of course even the ecu didnt kacau,u still need to fine tune it and the 1k i meant was not included

sekali gearbox cvt pecah i can buy new mivec engine + gearbox already..

CVT GB is belting type... its more fragile thn normal AT GB... better think thrice b4 boosting ur car performance...

bro, u pakai ngv hor? my iswara needs some tuning on the ngv setting. itu rpm when idle shoots over 1k wor..my friend's ngv can go 180km for a full pump rm8, but mine 130km already at risk liaw...i sadding now..if highway nonstop rawang-ipoh can max 170km only.. hopefully ur tuner can help me fine tune it so that it can go 180km, and no jerk..

my tuner really cannot ah..some more so far i cannot asyik go back ask his favour..
