the audi has DRL when it was launched here because the market volume here is too small that it can't justify the cost of removing the DRL from the headlights against the cost of retaining the DRL in the headlights.
Preve is never considered as DRL. Please. It is only a follow me home light, meaning it will only turned on when the engine isn't started. and in certain EU contries, it is illegal to turn on DRL during the night time. |

EO just use any semi syn or full synthetic with viscocity rating of xw-30 and above. Recommended to use semi syn first for the first 3 services.
and I reckon you will get excited too when the first service comes and therefore i shall answer you first on what to take and what not: what to take: engine oil oil filter gasket drain plug what not to take: engine treatment, <whatever> treatment magnatrap optional: windscreen washer ![]() |

QUOTE(dares @ Oct 29 2012, 02:23 PM) fixed QUOTE(nilox @ Oct 29 2012, 02:26 PM) Wah you guys are the best! I half-expected the replies to be "Use search, don't ask here noob" or "Why you ask stupid questions" or "Please get lost noob"... cause other areas in the forum seem to have these replies.. Please get lost noob! QUOTE I heard that during the first 1000 km, musn't drive above 80KMPH is that true..? just drive la, dont need to care much. I personally whack up Genting already on the fourth day I got my car. Where ever I drive, the only lane I drive on will be the right lane only during the first two months I get the car.And after 1000km, must REV the engine like crazy? Is that also true? BTW, welcome to be apart of rubbish car owner's league. This post has been edited by V12Kompressor: Oct 29 2012, 05:28 PM |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Oct 29 2012, 05:30 PM) rubbish car league, not rubbish car owner's league. damn, i am not rubbish. brake fluid normally has a maximum lifespan of two years. So, you do the maths lo, from the last time you changed your brake fluid. Added on October 29, 2012, 5:35 pmshould we change brake fluid? some guy @ BLM Club FB said no need. i don't trust his statement. apart from that, you have to take a look at your brake fluid also. If your brake fluid has become like kopi-o color then its time to change also. If color macam teh o ais, then, still ok but replacement is imminent. |

QUOTE(dares @ Oct 30 2012, 01:33 PM) I can understand the higher cost of spare parts and maintenance. But aftermarket parts such as arm rest, keyfob cover etc. etc. seems unreasonable because the quality is no better than the same items for Proton cars. oh, aftermarket ah. I thought original from Ford. It is like "it's a Ford keyfob cover, therefore you should pay more." On the other hand, I can get a K&N drop in for the Fofi for only RM200 If the price was inflated by those sellers then definitely not worth it. |

Good value for money, practical, cheap maintenance, competitive aftermarket stuff prices, some say sporty. Don't sell your gaga if you don't have to. |
