I've never had a chance to grab any GTX680 for myself, because HD7970 is a more powerful card.

Golden 7970 you have there,1.35 vcore?My matrix doesn't scale with high voltage.

OCbility on each card is vary from card to card. Max clock is all about draw of luck.
I'm using the same account name owikh84 for LYN/OCN/XS forum though.
My 7970's load vCore is ~1.27v
I think 7970 Matrix needs a better BIOS to get rid of the crappy vdroop.

anyone know why my Asus mb (in my siggy) dosent show ai overclock tuner at the ai tweaker tab ? is it locked ? any way to unlock it ?
even the CPU ration multiplier i can only set to max 32 ....

should be able to increase the multi to 40.. i've done with 3470 before, just didn't upload anywhere as its my friends PC.. lol

have you try in bios?

yeah that was from the bios ... somehow i set 40 it turns back to 32....
could that be my mb limitation ? do need to enable anything before i overclock ?

for the link u provided there is this AI overclock tuner in the Ai tweak ...
if i set that to manual i will be able to overclock right ? i do can underclock by setting the multiplier to 30...

Afaik that manual is to change BCLK only, not multiplier. So, you can actually overclock by using BCLK adjustment. Try increase the BCLK and see (default: 100)

problem is my bios the AI overclock tuner dosent appear as i state above >.< or that only appear with a k processor ?
also the multiplier the description said i can only set to the maximum value before turbo ...mb limitation i guess....well >.<

Try flash to the latest BIOS, if still can't then nothing much can be done which means the mobo limitation to OC.

just tried that its the same and it crashes my windows
was thinking that maybe my mobo limited me to change the multiplier and the proc limit me to change the FSB ...which kill from OC ing
