I tested taking it out at request of one user - phone still works - you can still launch apps as long as you do not need to write onto the ext sdcard or extract data from the ext sdcard such as games apps. Moving among homescreens remain seamlessly smooth - test apps drawer, settings menu etc. The phone will not, say auto shutdown.
Of course it is better to shutdown phone first before taking out the ext sdcard

That's why Im thinking, I should stop changing phone frequently...

Two questions from me, tolong me ya...
1) I can't seem to screenshot by swinging my palm. Already activated this in motion. Am I doing the right thing? So, I'm using S-Pen to screenshot now.

2) In order to use SD-Card to store apps and other stuffs, I must root my phone? I know nothing about rooting...

1. u use the side of ur palm, and swipe thru the screen (like cleaning it)

2. if u want to swap the ext-memory with int-memory, yea.. u need to have root permission.. rooting is super easy on note2.. use this toolkit.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923956
