I'm quite confused with this buy/sell thing at the money exchange counters... Can anyone please confirm if I get this right?
100 Taiwan Dollar We Buy 10.7 We Sell 10.9
So this means that if I want to change RM to NTD, for every 100 Taiwan Dollar, I'm buying from them for RM10.9...
And if I have any NTD, and I wanted to change it back to RM, the banker will buy it back from me for RM10.7 for every 100NTD...
Did I get this right?

QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 2 2010, 05:13 PM) Yes correcto too. But for those currency that are badly traded here..& one of it..NT$, it's better to change to US$ 1st & thereafter to NT$ at Taipei Airport...read the 1st page of Taiwan thread for more info. BTW, the market rate of NT$ is ~10.50..almost similar to Thai bath but u are getting it at RM10.9-RM11.2 in KL...beware...By changing to US$ & NT$ at Taipei, U get ~ RM10.60 OK, thanks for the advice... I read all about it in the Taiwan thread already... Just that I'm a bit confused with the foreign exchange thingy, just wanted to confirm whether I got it right... OK, will keep in mind the tips!

I am going to Taiwan next week... Wanna ask whether it is better to change to US$ and then convert to NT$ at the airport? Or convert to NT$ directly?

QUOTE(stimix @ Jun 28 2012, 09:47 PM) Up to you. If you want abit of saving of ~ RM30 for every RM1000 you change, change to US$ 1st but if RM30 saving not interest you, just directly change now Thanks for your advice, stimix!!
