Can't really say much, if you have good negotiating skills, then try to negotiate with a money changer to give you better rates. I just came back from Thailand recently and I used CIMB Regional Withdraw feature to get cash from CIMB Thai ATM's and my rate was 1000THB to 117.30MYR, go figure.

Do some research or ask your friends around to get a good money changer.
