I'm going to Singapore this month. Its my first time traveling outside the country so this money changing this is kinda new to me.
Any guidelines or procedures to follow when changing money? I'm planning to change RM1000 so I guess I'll get SGD416 is that correct?
If theres some extra SGD that I didn't get to use while there, I'll convert it back to RM. Would that be much of a problem?
Do you think I should convert exactly the amount that I'm going to use or is it ok to convert more and change back to RM if theres extra that I didn't use while there? Any advice?

I just went to Sunway Pyramid and exchanged RM1200 for SGD500. Is that considered good?
I heard that if I want to convert my SGD back to MYR its better to do it in Singapore because I can get more compared to if I come back here and do it. Is it true?
