USD RMB rate in Shanghai is around 658.42 (USD100 = RMB 658.42)

If you convert Rm310.5 into USD 100 and change it into RMB in Shanghai, the implied rate that you got is MYR/RMB 2.1205

I went to Shanghai and Hangzhuo on Sept, I observed that the rate of USDRMB in Hangzhou airport was relatively low and hardly see any money changer on the street (meaning that you have to search hard for it)

I would suggest that you straight away convert your MYR into RMB in M'sia as the difference is relatively small.

for RMB,u can find it easily here in msia..better just change to RMB..no double conversion then.unless if need sum not really popular currencies like NT.better do USD than NT cos i think,they r quite pricey here..

The travel agency should bbe able to wait for you to settle your needs rather than them controlling your timing haha.. Anyway I hate travel agents..Well, they even might ask you to change at a money changer where they can get xtra commission haha
