There is a trick played by the money changers. If you phone in to ask for the rate, they will usually quote lower than board rate to lure you go over but by the time you reach the counter, they will tell higher rate citing the exchange rate just increased minutes ago. I Kena 2 times already !!

Hey pal.. wanna know this as well.. so far.. seems like wawasan was the only money changer that updating their website for the currency rates.

I can confirm Stimix's report that Wawasan Sentosa is temporary out of business pending renewal of license. They pay shop rental in MV buta buta for 1 mths + already. Don't know why BNM withhold their license renewal for so long.

Stimix, Not cheap leh. they quoted me euro 4.38 whereas MV gave me 4.33 (same day). I changed at MV the bookshop cum money changer in front of MacDonald and save RM75. By the way, all the 3 money changers in MV always quoted the same rates including Maybank. I think they all pakat already, no point undercutting each other. But people still queue at M.V Forex yet just opposite, Maybank offering the same rates.

From my observation, most money changers in Seoul only display rates for HK, RMB, S$, Yen, NT$, US. If you bring only RM to Korea, it will very hard for you to change and the exchange rate is definitely not favorable.
Please bring USD to Korea.
