I'm also interested in money changers who offers good rate in PJ area .

Currently, I change at the money changer in 1 Utama basement cos near my workplace. But not sure how the rate is compared to others.

I know Mid Valley rate is much better but too far for me to drive all the way there.

Hahah yeah, sounds like a plan. Though I doubt they'll "layan" me much since I usually change small amount only.

I'm quite confused to how and when the money changers update their rates.

At the beginning of the day, do they follow the previous day rates ? They usually only update the rates once a day only right? And I think the actual rates for the day only comes out around 12 noon.

Anyone has any idea?

Anyway I was doing some research these past few days and found out in order to get RM1 = THB10 you can change from RM to THB at the Superrich money changer located at Pratunam (near the BigC supermarket). Hope this helps.  biggrin.gif

Yeah so tempting to go to thailand..Now waiting for airasia promo.
hopefully by then this way is still feasible.
Yeah, me too. But I saw this in the news today :

Bomb in central Bangkok kills 1, wounds 10
- The bomb had been hidden near a trash bin at a bus stop on Ratchadumri Road in the heart of Bangkok's commercial district.

This was actually infront of the BigC supermarket!

Wouldn't these continous chaos affect the Baht exchange rate?

Anyone knows of any equivalent website similar to Wawasan last time? Was very good information and for comparison reasons which can be easily accessed.

Went to a few money changers around Mutiara Damansara area. All of them refused to sell Euros to me except for one, who also limited it to a E550 only.
*
Why is that? Noticed that Euro went down quite abit lately.
