Mid valley that one is one of the good one but not sure it is a best one.
U can take the Mid valley one as a guideline but i found that u can get better rate at SG wang area most of the time

There are a number of money changers at the city centre near central market (not within central market itself) - I often change at two near the Maybank and RHB junction.

Unless you are changing tens of thousands, 0.38 or 0.394 won't make much difference. On the other hand, if you travel one place to another to hunt the "best rates", you may end up incurring more through petrol, parking, LRT & monorail fares etc..

Unless you have lotsa US$ to change and in big denomination, no point searching for the best bcos 3.00 already much better than 3.01 by wawasan.

Anyway currently all Money changer imposed big denomination of US$50 and above to get 3.00 or 3.01 as per Today rate.

If you hv smaller than US$50, diff rate dy

I feel I got cheated by WAWASAN SENTOSA money changer at Mid Valley. I made a mistake by not counting the notes before I handed over to the fella, and did not pay attention when he handled the money (did not expect it'd happen!). After he took my money n counted a while n put in counting machine, he told me it's short of several pieces. I counted twice at home n I'm sure the amount was right..I have no idea why it could be short. I had to top up several pieces of RM50/=.

After that I felt it wasnt right, and then requested to watch CCTV, and found out tht the camera actually cannot see the fella's hand, so the recording is meaningless. After that the fella said he closed the account to see if there's extra money, ended up he told me he is also short of money.

Damn. I think it's their tactic to cheat people like me who did not pay enough attention and did not count notes in front of them.

so be careful as u do change money at Wawasan Sentosa Mid Valley. I thought of lodging police report but realised I have no prove, the CCTV also cannot see the fella's hand. Damn!

Yes, to Macau, need not change any pataca. HK$ is 100% valid and almost same amt as HK$. However I'm not sure whether RMB can be used bcos there is an obvious diff in value
