Basement Floor of MIDVALLEY MALL. there are two changers virtually next to each others that offer by far the best rates I have found anywhere in Malaysia. those two places are very busy (in most cases many people queuing up, which is always a good sign), and there is a permanent flow of cash, so there is a good chance you can get a decent rate for yout TWD.
they are located next to a smaller side-escalator leading to the ground level. Not TOO difficult to find, just walk along the basement level and sooner or later you will see them, not far from the main Carrefour entrance. Both changers offer virtually the same rates

Got any gopod place to change TWD....

Hey guys need some advice
i just changed my money earlier today at Money Master in MidValley..
i changed to HKD, and the smallest note that i get is HKD500..the rest is HKD 1000...
if i want to buy small stuff that cost me HKD10/20/50 where can i change the note to smaller one?
Money changer didn't keep small notes?

this is my 1st individual overseas trip..
*
Yes, money changer don't take small notes and not to worry because at Hong Kong, you will only eat HKD 40-60 for meal... First thing you need to do is once reach Hong Kong, take the HKD 1000 to pay for your Airport Express or taxi but sometimes taxi will scold if you give too big notes.... Then again use big notes to pay for your entrance ticket... Then shopping at complex then use your big notes and you will start to have small notes.... If you really want small notes, I can change some for you since I having lots of small notes

I didn't get what u mean....now I on hand got renminbi 5k....this is last time trip balance...So should i bring this renminbi to Taiwan and change to NTD there? Rate izzit better than I use ringgit change NTD here?
*
It mean u use Renminbi exchange at there, rate wouldn't be good as compared to USD to NTD.... rate perhaps is higher than here exchange NTD or just same....

Sorry for asking a noob question here. I'm not good in currency exchange thingy.
I saw NTD rate few days ago: NT100 = RM10.80.
My colleague want me to buy Longchamp bag for her at Taipei 101. She didn't tell me how much the bag yet, but she say will give me RM first.
Assuming the bag is NT4000 and the rate remain at 10.80, should I ask her to pay me RM370?
*
You can use card to swipe for it.... Now the rate is 10.75..... Taiwan dollar are not well traded at here....

Hi guys,

I will be going home to Malaysia next month (from US). Do you think I should carry cash USD or just withdraw from my US bank using the local ATM. Which one will get me more MYR?

If I carry cash, where can I get the best exchange rate?
Thanks!
*
I could advise u carry in the cash and exchange at here since the USD rate is rising....
