after 2months of using EDGE entrt level VS,at least 50hours run in now
if u ask me the VS good onot? My answer will be..." i cant live without EDGE VS"
It might sound abit over but I'm not bluffing
At abt 30 hours,i tried to remove my VS from my Vios and see whether is my car actually already that good or the VS really helps
after remove i then drive the car for abt 1 hour..the 1st thing came into mind is..where my bass gone?where the audio details gone?
i tot these was some physcology effect.. i continue driving without VS for 1 week and i put it back..
and seriously at the same volume..my bass came back..details in songs came back..
not forget to mention abt the gear shifting response is better with VS on..
Fuel consumption wise I feel is the same,but bear in mind that my leg has become heavier coz of the power of my car,yet the fuel consumption din change..what you think?

Update :

Driving an auto alza : Naik bukit without even dropping to gear 3 or 2. An Avanza and a Toyota Rush kissed my alza's heavy arse.

A cousin(who owned a Vios) who sat next to me, was damm surprise.

Hope his application to home minister(wife) will get thru. I did not poison him..

Yesterday, installed in my Nissan Frontier Diesel car(manual transmission). will report of the outcome soon.

I got the answer from EDGE VS owner FB group.

Oh Btw, I want to update an incident that happened to my car recently.

Last week how5day ordered grounding cable and positive cable from Monster, so I tumpang him a positive cable as well.

When the cable reach, we were too excited and wanna try to DIY installing positive cable in my car. As we were too excited, we had forgoten to remove the battery terminal before removing the bolt from the alternator.

Suddenly, the spana accidently touched my car's body and short circuit happened, a lot of spark came out from my engine bay. We were stuned and do not know how to react immediately. Few seconds later the spark stopped, I immediately tried to start my car's engine but I failed to do so.

I sent my car to Perodua Service center for diagnosis, the outcome is one of the main cable from battery positive terminal to fuse box was burnt. So I paid RM85++ for replacement.

Moral of the story : Do not over excited when you receive any Edge product from tyenfei or monster if you direct buy from him. Read instruction or ask before you install anything.

If you are not familiar, please ask professional personal to do for you.

Afterall, I still enjoy Edge's product. After add in positive cable, my car become so smooth! Less kick down and can follow Honda Civic FD easily (can't guarantee after 130kmh)

that's why I always suggest VE to get foreman do it

and .. very lucky my thread revive joh Thanks for MOD/Admin who help.

Will suggest BT103 if meet your budget. But for sure other EDGE senior user will say at least BT 303
