My best suggestion to you is to help yourself WALK-INTO ANY of FOTILE DEALER showroom to check into this 2 hoods. To be franked, ALL FOTILE COOKER HOODS was engineered and built with its different conceptual design and capabilities to suit for each individual kitchen requirement. I thing for sure is all FOTILE hoods is JUST ENOUGH to perform in any kitchen for cooking needs. As I always asked all my clients to either go to FOTILE FLAGSHIP SHOWROOM in Solaris Dutamas or their FOTILE main office to experience the products. You will get UNBIASED opinion and suggestion.

Alright. Come back to your very general question on the performance of JQG9009 compare to the group: EH10BQ/CHS9006W/CHS9007W. If you based on FOTILE catalog and compare the specification of these models, I would say EH10BQ/CHS9006W/CHS9007W models have the extra more feature for its 3D Ionised Air Curtain. For the best price and performance of every model in FOTILE range of cooker hoods, EH10BQ is consider ALL-ROUNDED performance cooker hood.

Fast and simple answer to your question above. I would say you may consider with the additional extra of RM1,000++ (from FOTILE package deal), the FOTILE JQG9009 (aka FOTILE-V) will be your right choice if you are looking for FOTILE'S NEW CONCEPTUAL HOOD. Again, somehow I have tested and experienced it with our clients' installed JQG9009 houses that this JQG9009 have had A LITTLE BIT of STRONG pressure AIR-FLOW at the outlet (end-cap outside the house).

JQG9009 (aka FOTILE-V)

Capabilities:
1) Design to LOCKS "airborne grease" and LEADS it from the chamber entrance to the internal exhaust system in "ONE STRAIGHT LINE" with ZERO to minimal obstruction. (Meaning from the point of the hob to the chamber entrance to the fan extractor to the exhaust outlet is in-one-vertical-straigt-line with minimal obstruction. With this conceptual design, the hood was position at the "RIGHT" height distance from the hob (smoke generator) at 580mm apart before the smoke start to spread, all the smoke & grease will be guided to the chamber entrance. FOTILE has study that the OPTIMAL airborne grease CONTROL Zone is located precisely at 580mm above the kitchen hob. JQG9009 is designed and engineered to lock the airborne grease COMPLETELY before smoke start to spreads.)

2) Wider Chamber Entrance to capture oil and airborne grease efficiently. (Meaning that this wide design make the suction effectively and evenly capturing smoke at every corner within the 90cm-wide chamber entrance. Hence allow JGQ9009 to capture smoke FAST and QUICKLY).

3) The window opening, we called it BUFFER PLATE was design at 110-degree opening to helps forms air compression to prevent airborne grease from escaping. The buffer plate was designed with a 13cm-wide, helps to prevents oil and smoke from coming into contact with the user. (Meaning that when the hood is running, the buffer plate will pressurises airborne grease and really preventing the smoke from spreading. Again the buffer plate create a buffer between the user and the airborne grease, which prevent the user from coming into the contact with the airborne grease. Also when the hood is shut-off the plate buffer will close the chamber entrance and this will prevents backflow of airborne grease.)

4) JQG9009 also engineered with automatic TURBO system to increase the extraction power to increase the pressure in the exhaust up to 350Pa when it detects that the exhaust is low in pressure. (Meaning once it sense the resistance in suction, the turbo mode will be activated to ensure that the exhaust is able to release airborne grease smoothly and effectively.)

with 3D Ionized Air Curtain.

Capabilities:
1) Generates an invisible wall in the smoke spread zone, which can prevent smoke escape and ensure smoke return to negative pressure zone until it is directed into the filter system. (Just considered the invisible Air Curtain as a smoke guard in preventing smoke from escaping).

2) It generates anion for air purification to keep the surrounding air refreshing. (To clean the air a little bit).

3) Using the patented clean & clear filter buffer that make use of the aerodynamics theory to ensure the hood achieves highly efficient oil filtration and odor reduction. (Meaning the filter is easy to clean and maintains and provide high efficient suction).

4) The hood canopy with deep smoke collection chamber design, which produce large negative pressure area to collects smoke rapidly and avoiding smoke from escaping. (Meaning the large wide and deep canopy is able to smoothly collecting and guide smoke to flow into the filter system, hence smoke find no way to be escaped).

Oh.. Sorry for the confusing statement! I mean, I thought FOTILE (Malaysia) still have balance stocks.

I don't have the D5BH on hand.

However, you may be able to find the BALANCE STOCKS of D5BH in the market. Some dealers may have kept this OLD stocks. FOTILE already discontinued this D5BH for years ago.

Our very last batch of D5BH was completely SOLD OUT in year 2007. The very last few sets was sold at RMX,350.
