Hi I just blitzed myself to 60...but being a new D3 player, I am confused on the builds.

I am now can ease past Expert level but 50-50 on Master and total wipeout on Torment.

So would love to know some build that is suitable for me to finish the story.

I know some people already posted their builds but those are for some geared up wizards.

Do bear in mind that I just dinged 60 and havent started gearing yet. Just looking for an easier build to go with.

I had a look at some other wizards here and my stats are off..

I have like 100k of life but most other wizards have like 40-50k life...and my dps is absurdly slow when compared to them.

my base DPS is like 60k and saw some have like 200kdps. I know that my gears are still noob...just started d3 less than 2 weeks ago.

Anything I did wrong? So far I can breeze through T1 no problem. But havent tried T2 because I want to chiong the acts for the 2nd time.

So to adjust that, just need to play with paragon points? No other way right.

I am very unlucky with drops..I got the candoto's set but that also was given to me by clan mate.

I am having trouble maintaining T1 all the way to 68 currently. Died too many times my net income is 0.

Haven't been lucky with the drops.

Also with my lousy equipments, I find that Blackhole is a must. Need to kite and pull them together then arcane orb them to pieces.

Paragon 400...no wonder high dps and toughness...im only lvl 70 paragon haha

obviously not for solo bosses but bosses with minion spawns, the build works great. The build still needs work but so far I am doing ok with this. Maybe will try to swap out deflection for force weapon.

Oh yes, I indeed use Unwavering will but had to switch to audacity cause of the quest I was on before I logged out.

I just tried malthael...freaking hard...need a change of strategy...ill do that when i get home.

Yup after revamping the toon specifically for malthael, it went down easily on master mode.

Currently doing adventure mode and back to arcane orb goodness.

I also got a dex ring yesterday...but the other stats was ok and I can ditch out paralysis passive since the ring gives that effect too.

I agree...it looks like I'm holding some glorified basketball. And! I can't even xmog it...what a bad luck haha.

I still have the lvl 60 MLW but never bothered to use it until I read this thread.

I never realised that it was that good. I am still new to the game still.

Anyway, I run the cookie cutter FO build and I don't feel nerfed too bad though.

Or I might have neutralised the nerf by equipping Strongarm bracer to complement my blackhole build albeit only a lvl 60 bracer.

Anyway, I am still running wiz as my main though I have a barb and a DH that are decently equipped. wiz too much power yaw~

A well timed black hole could help with that fast moving enemies. But there is a type of monster which eventhough has been caught in the black hole, still be able to leap to you...this is so annoying and I think it should be fixed.
