Ssup mayn,
Depends on your role. For me when i t6 rifting, i play as the supporting role rather than the one who give the most damage. I'm not a solo type of player as i focus more on multiplayer (rift). The perks of multiplayers outweighed single player by a mile. We're talking about chances to get legendaries, experiences-to-paragorn, synergies and fun-ship. So, you got to understand what role you are going to be when you're playing at T6. Punching the most damage is great, but t6 is a whole different level. I dont care if you're damage is over 3 mil without crit, without toughness, one hit by arcane, orbiter, mortar and lightning, you're a goner, then you jeopardize the whole teamwork. Then you run around, you saw another elite waiting. Pretty much f*cked.
Basically perma stun + freeze wizard is my idea lean towards being a support wizard. Basically the items you need are Myken Ball of Hate + Wizard Hat (which double the chain lightning hit to enemies) + ThunderFury (this sword is not necessary but the lightning perks it gives for this build, is super defensive). Use it with paralysis and other stun boost legendary items are nearly a must. Meanwhile equip yoself with Frostburn gauntlet. Pair it with Frost Hydra then you're good to go, mayn. If you want to use 2 hydra, u need to change to Serpent Strike as your main weapon which double your chances to freeze enemies (which is super effective mayn). Skills customization, i dont think i need to summarize for you, but pretty much electrocute + a spender spell like blizzard, meteor or black hole are great choice. I was thinking, for this build stacking LoH may seem beneficial for survivability other than just stacking toughness but i need to know how often it procs.
For the twister build, there is a 2 hand staff which force twister to move in a straight line. Now, imagine using the rune skill twister which combine 2 twister into one big ass F5 twister which gives nearly 2k percent damage over 6 seconds, YET spammable bruh. Hence cost reduction is a must and Audacity due to the fact, standing 15 yards facing hellish mobs takes courage and the audacity, literally, to make the twister reach the mobs easily. I dont need to brief the toughness part and so on but with temporal flux and magic weapon blazing rune skills, oh mayn...fire tornado beeches. But the main ingredient for this build to be viable is the cost reduction. Aim that plus extra arcane damage, you can imagine 3 big ass twisters with huge damage over 6 sec and slow enemies. Now imagine pair it with monks implosion. Well, everything goes well with monk implosion, lol.
You get the idea, brozard. You have more advantage from me when it comes it items bro, frankly i dont see why you cant T5-T6, but i think you meant solo. Give multiplayer a try assuming you have alot of rift fragments.
