found a pretty nice serpent wand thingy (the one that allow 2hydra)..

can anyone recommend a nice hydra build variant? preferably cold type..

Mirrorball source + Frostburn gloves + Magic Missile/Glaciel Spike + Hydra

P/S
T&T gloves could be an ideal gear for hydra build.
It will increase the attack speed of your hydra.

I hope you enchant the right stat as i enchant wrongly......T.T

u guys purposely choose something that involve a frostburn to poke fire at me...
ok i get it..

anyway that wand was like below:
22xx dps
some int
some vit
1 x soc

after calculating the outcome i found out if i enchant it to have 10%dmg the outcome will be like 24xx dps.. so its pretty decent damage so i went ahead and got rid of the vit for 10%dmg. is that correct???

havent found a visage with high cold+..
if i use andy visage i will have to give up Tal rasha 4piece bonus... hard to give up. unless i also find a nice tri-facta ammy to replace the current 2-facta tal-ammy.

dont focus so much on tricfecta bruh. I've seen many have it in higher torment rifting, still got their ass kicked due to low toughness. Aim for toughness as well.

One cold wizard i played with, oh my, much speed, too cold, very chill....one time kena molten, poison or mortar, gone case.

Another fire wizard i played with, very fiery, much spam, too blazing, got himself frozen, gone case. Raped.

There's one lightning wizard i see, he is among the ones i know who can survive longer due to paralysis. Still, brozard thought he is quick, teleported to an elite, got banged real hard.

again, the gameplay above is subject to the teammates you're playing with. I always love multiplayer rifting at T6 especially, picking one piece of gold for 80K-100K. That's fap for me. Not to mention everytime open chest its like BAMM legendary item.

Anyway, aim something which can hold the monsters back. I dont like to deal pesky mobs in T6.

Damage output wise, you're good bro.

i know what u mean.

my biggest problem so far in T6 is those elite with 'fast' so far. In T5 solo what i have been doing when dealing with 'fast' pack is as below:
in T5:
-quickly cast a blizzard + 1 blackhole
-shoot RoF until they recover from blackhole and run up to me in close range.
-face tank it abit until own hp drop to 75%-50%.
-at this point usually 1-2 minions will have died.
-run around kiting and wait for a good chance to catch them all with next blackhole, using the 1-2 health globe to juggle own hp.
-2nd blackhole lands, everything is dead by RoF.

in T6:
-quickly cast a blizzard + 1 blackhole
-shoot RoF until they recover from blackhole stun and run up to me in close range.
-face tank it abit until own hp drop to 75%-50%.
-at this point usually usually no minions will have died, but 2-4 will be dangling with 10-20% hp left
-run around kiting and wait for a good chance to catch them all with next blackhole, pretty stressful dodging. most death happen here.
-2nd blackhole lands, 3-4 dies, producing good amount of health globe.
-blizzard kite abit, kills all, sometime need 3rd blackhole sometimes dont.

so from what is happening above i think if i can get just abit more dps, i think i can make T6 the same as what i have been doing in T5 so far.

in multiplayer these days it all depend on teammate imo. best experience so far is every time when theres a good monk puller in group = happy farming. they just pull every damn thing to themselves, put up lots of exploding palm, we casters just have to kill 1 of the exploding palm and the whole pack dies in chainreaction.

crusader tank/barb tank usually is bad experience coz they usually cant hold mobs at all. havent seen any barb that use their vaccum skill in T6 so far. and usually crusader and barb likes to aggro the whole map and nit-pick those easy kills and move on, nice 30% dmg reduction they have. Leaving behind all the annoying mobs to chew on casters (lol).

groups of wiz+wd = varied experience. some have good cc skills some bad. good cc group is very nice to farm with but i am getting less and less chance to meet these group, dont know where they went, maybe they stopped playing. more and more wd these days are also nit-picking easy kills and move on soloing in front while ppl dies behind them lol, why they play multiplayer if all they wanna do is solo? no idea.

Experience wise, yup monk and wizards for me are the best toons to play with so far. Crusaders are great too actually as a tanker compare to barbs. The one i played with often, gets killed too easily.

what i always do is cast two frost hydra (epic frost machine with frostburn) and wicked wind paired temporal flux to slow mobs, then cast MM + blazing rune skills magic weapon all the way. My serpent strike wand have cold damage on it, hence i fully utilize Elemental Siesto Exposure to have at least 20% more for my team and also additional 6% crit.

That's why when comes to T6, its best to identify the role one play rather than focus on damage output.

for role i guess mine is dps buff laugh.gif

also good at slowing down mobs. if they would give me a frostburn finally i can also be good cc,

so over all alot of dps buff, mediocre cc support i guess..

Hi!, wizzy.

Just would like to inform that I've made a transition from arcane to fire wizard after the discovery of Wand-of-Woh and +2 Mirrorball.

I took a look into my stash and put together a fire SoJ, Magefist and Harrington Waistguard into the mix.

The result; still pending.

Ah i see. Yup Frostburn is what you need......and for me mirrorball +2 for the time being, although im happy with my +1 magic missile.

ASPD and CD especially. High aspd let you reset the conflag asap while maintaining burning damage at max. With passive skill - conflagaration, extra 6% cc, this is where CD shines at best.

I thought the patch was supposed to fix stupid rolls like this. Enchanted this amulet over 20 times now and I keep getting Vit, Life%, AR and Area Damage %. Not kidding.
