i paired with both the iPad 3rd gen and NEXUS 4 (only 1 device can be connected at any one time). one thing I like about using Pebble on iOS over Android is the ability to control other music apps currently in use straight away (on android, I have to select the default music apps I want to control on the pebble app on the phone).

Notification wise, Android are able to show more. Maybe the same can be achieve with jailbroken tweak on iOS.

Overall battery usage for me is around 3 to 7 days.

Very happy with it after using it for 3 weeks now biggrin.gif.

Day 1 Photo taken with iPhone 4S (Sold sad.gif ) WARNING non iOS device shown in picture biggrin.gif

Yes! I choose to buy Pebble watch because of this "Runkeeper" supporting feature.  thumbup.gif
Still waiting for the arrival of mine...

gotta go and test it out soon. Quite buggy still. Cannot use the pebble to stop or start the session on this build.

Tons of user created watchfaces popping up with the release of Pebble Watchfaces SDK. My favorite is Revolution & Noms smile.gif

here is one for the Trekkie LCARS01

More user created watchfaces over at Watchapp directory and mypebblefaces

The latest Firmware and App on android broke the Beta release of Runkeeper sad.gif lets hope the official support of runkeeper will be release soon...

U mean there is more watch faces other than the ones provided by the pebble app? All this while i thought that there were only the watch faces provided by the app @@
*
yup you can side load it with the latest app on Android. iOS app update pending Apple's approval, there is another method for iOS to install user created watchface & watch apps.

you can even create own watchface & apps using the Pebble SDK if you now how to code. Still waiting for the new SDK that enable the Pebble apps to control the phone apps

Erm how do you load the watchfaces downloaded from internet to the pebble? I downloaded a watchface but dunno how to move it to the watch
*
I'm using android to install the watchface. New ios pebble app update that support this feature still pending for Apple's approval.

For now u can either install it through android pebble app or u can use this https://github.com/Hexxeh/libpebble

I'm not familiar with the libpebble method

I would choose Pebble anytime smile.gif
Advantage of Pebble over I'm watch:
1. 5 to 7 days battery life
2. E-paper display (no problem viewing under bright sun) and on all the time
3. 5 ATM water proof
4. multiple watchfaces
5. app integration (coming soon)
6. Better integration with Phone OS notification system

Disadvantage:
1. no colour screen
2. no touch screen
3. limited memory
4. no speaker

I believe they still haven't finish producing for those kickstarter backers. (April to may 2012). Those who preordered will come later.

I backed mine more than 1 years ago smile.gif

They still haven't ship all pebbles (non-black colour) to kickstater backers (who backed during April to May 2012) yet. Pre-order unit will be deliver after that.

do bear in mind that some user says it can fit pebble perfectly, while some say cannot.
In my case I have trim the side of the band slightly to make it fit.

what did you use to change the strap? a simple knife to push out the metal spring rod that connects the strap to the watch body?
*
I use tiny flat head screw driver to do the job. just need some pressure to push the band to expose the metal spring rod.

So when u're not connected to ur iphone, the batt also can last for around 6-7days only? That is sad, as currently now i'm using nokia 100 monochrome for my backup phone which last for 6days, and still i had forgotten to charge.
*
not sure how long it last without turning on the bluetooth, but mine 24/7 connected to android phone last me minimum of 7 days. I'm sure it will go longer with bluetooth off.
