Hi there, i also backing pebble KS. Pledge for P2 for my wife and PT2 for myself.
This is my first time pledging in KS. So a bit excited.
Saw a lot of unhappy backer from UK regarding preorder price is cheaper or same with KS early price.
Just wonder is it the tax and price different affecting Malaysia too. Can someone who back the previous KS for pebble tell their experience here? Is the item have problem reaching Malaysia, do i need to pay any extra for custom or tax?

I just curious.
KS price for PT2 is USD169 for early bird (EB), USD179 for non-EB. USD15 for shipping
So KS price is USD 184 for EB and USD 194 for non-EB.
And using pebble official website it is now USD199 free shipping.
Sound like there is reason why those backer bising a bit.

The exchange rate part what to do? Cant change the fact.
But since the PTS is USD249. So for me PT2 is USD184 is cheaper for me

What is the conversion rate when they charge your credit card. Mine is around 4.12. Damn high. 😡

I know that, but really dunno which color to go if use beeple. I like the original color of pebble.

Mine CIMB. I tot around 30/6 to 3/7 the conversion like around 4.0x.

Finally mine is shipped.

Mine is 30. But down the email got disclaimer said this shipping includes my Time 2 as well so in my time 2 invoice will not have shipping cost

Pebble 2 Flame arrived today finally.
Got on and off disconnection problem.
Especially hand phone too far away for too long.
Pair with android phone.

Haha. Just cheapskate review from me. After using it for two days.
Never own any Pebble watch or Apple Watch. So nothing to compare.
I love the screen, I thought black and white might not easy to view. But it not, it is easily view in any angle. Like the silicon strap too, smooth and won't feel sticky when sweating.
Notification is fast. The Pebble app is easy to set up too.
Although I found one thing very interesting, not sure it is something wrong during my first set up or it is really a bug in the Pebble app.
Initial set up I pair my watch and android phone e
Language: English,
Notification language: English + Chinese
I can't receive any notification from whatsapp and yahoo mail app.
Factory reset both watch and Pebble app in phone
Language: English
Notification language: English
Then all the notification work fine, includes whatsapp and yahoo mail. But watch can't show Chinese character.
Then I add on Chinese language in notification language without factory reset.
Now everything work fine.
So if your whatsapp have problem, maybe it is same as mine?

As for the drop in connection.
I setup in my android phone never drop Bluetooth and autoshut down Pebble app even idle or "do no disturb" activated. Now the Bluetooth drop is lesser as for today.
Overall I love this watch, but this is my wife watch.

If I know it turn out like this I should buy the two strap bundle in the last promotion. Why Pebble why? I like Pebble watch so much. I like Pebble 2 so much. Just can't see my time 2. Will there be Fitbit time 2? Lol

I feel I want to complete my hand on one of them too.
My Pebble 2 arrived in time, but that is for my wife. My time 2 didn't arrive. So I feel I will hunt for it in the wild.


I am totally dunno about programming. I think if they (developer) change the time line to response to our calendar in the phone. It will alert or alarm following the phone calendar, no? It will totally stop relying on server.

Got my full refund today.
Feel like want to use that money to get pebble time. Any pebble time in the wild. Hehe
