Yes. You need cable to charge. If it follows the same kind of mechanism like the current generation of pebble, it is super easy as the contact is held on by magnet. It is a pretty good system. Pretty flawless. Second best to wireless charging.

I bought my Pebble Steel used from a forum member. Day 1, watch kaput. I went and bitch about it the Pebble forum and got a reply from support. They offered to replace my PS with a new one. So, ok. I accept.

Weeks later, new one came and was happy for few weeks and then kaput again. Screen tearing issue. WTF!?!? I bitched again and this time they will send me another. Should be in the way to my house now.

After this, will have 3 units of PS. One dead, bricked by v3 update. Another has screen tearing issue. Lastly, a new one in the way.

Received a replacement PS earlier today.

Now I have 2 dead ones and 1 new one. Will be testing the new one again.

Pebble 2 Flame arrived today finally.
Got on and off disconnection problem.
Especially hand phone too far away for too long.
Pair with android phone.

Just got my replacement Pebble Time Steel.
Amazing customer service by Pebble.

My Original Pebble time steel just stopped working.
Particularly it's top right button. It was mushy and then it just didn't work.

I panicked as my warranty period was suppose to end a week before this occured.
Nevertheless, I got in contact with pebble support team and explained what had happened.

They shipped me a new watch and I got it within 2 weeks.
It's not just the body. They literally gave me a whole new watch. Inclusive of charging cable and strap.

I'm really really impressed with them. Kudos to Pebble.
