Should i get a pebble time or pebble 2?
There is a huge support effort to make sure the Pebble keeps working after the service expected termination by 2018. As of now, the Pebble apps for both iOS and Android are not dependent anymore with the Pebble server. It is very workable for user to install 3rd part watch faces and apps, as well as updating firmware.
However, warranty is no longer available because pebble has closed its door. I have pretty good experience with Pebble watches. My Original Pebble is still working after 3 years of ownership. Its battery doesn't last 7 days, but 3-4 days are pretty good. Had a Pebble Time Steel but I sold it last year in anticipation of Pebble2. Of course, it didn't happened.
I am waiting to meet my friend who has helped me to buy the Pebble 2 from Target. Well, it was working fine as I asked her to get the service team to test out the Pebble 2 before leaving the store.

It is a collection piece.
