I think online there's some videos on Youtube that shows how to replace the leather strap with the metal one.

Have tried. Its just too hard to remove the links with a flat screwdriver. Brought it to another shop and done. However, minor scratches could't be avoided in the links. Both bands quality are really so so. Sigh.

now they selling steel with only leather strap for 229 usd. either they realized they are not making money with the steel strap, or they wanna cut cost to attract more ppl
*
Only $20. Not much difference. I think they may encountered some glitches with the steel bands manufacturer.

If you're referring to standard Pebble, can look at the garage sales subforum.
