QUOTE(belfong @ May 27 2013, 11:26 AM) According to the kickstarter page, the reason they used wireless charging is so that they can make the Agent watch waterproof. I think that is important to me. I am not sure if Pebble is water proof since it has a microUSB slot. Pebble is water resistant and it doesn't use the micro USB port. It uses some kind of magnetic clip on charger like MacBook.

Really? Then looks like Pebble is a better choice compare to the Agent because it is made for iOS and Android. But the Agent smart watch is more 'classy' because of the leather strap. It will be useful for a office environment where as Pebble seems like a informal wear.

Wireless charging sounds more like a cool features than useful, if you misplace to the 'sweet spot' it wouldnt charge.

yeah, but the agent smartwatch looked really professional, imo. I am very tempted to back them up.. and if you read, they do have a lot more technologies (eg really low power consumption, better developer support kit, etc) than Pebble.

It will be useful for a office environment where as Pebble seems like a informal wear. the pebble is a standard 22mm watch strap. i have seen videos and pics of pebble owners who have swapped to nice leather straps with different trim colors. i will do the same for mine once the current strap starts to fray.

How big is the Pebble size on a Asian slim hand? Is it oversize? Any photos on your hand, hawk98?

ihawk98, that looks too big for your wrist. Maybe it is the close up shot. I find that the Agent Smart Watch is more attractive as it is square shape, not rectangle that the Pebble is aiming for.

Hi,
I have a few questions for Pebble watch backer here.
1) Did anyone of you got taxed for the watch? 2) How is the watch declared in the courier manifest? 3) Which courier did Pebble used?
Hope some of you are kind enough to answer my queries. Thanks.
