Lulz...snapshotting is like this:-

Say a skills do X% damage over time. So when you cast the skills...the damage output is snapped for the computation of the X dmage over time. Best way to explain by using Sweeping Wind (SW) as eg

SW- 45% of weapon damage upon 3 crits.

So cast it with say a 1000DPS weapon. The system snapshots it that SW is cast with 1000DPS weapon and computes subsequent damage based on this figure.

EXPLOIT:- So to maximize the DPS of SW, you cast with a the highest DPS weapon you have, say a 1.5K Skorn. Once cast, the system rembers as if you are using Skorn as weapon. However, you subsequently swap to 2x I hander of 900 DPS (for life sustain reasons). By right, you SW damage output should be reduced, but since the system had snapshot as skorn, it remains as if you are still using skron for the SW instead.This alos applies to whatever attributes that the weapon had..crits/LS LoH, fear, stun..yadayada.

TLDR:- To maximize weapon efficientcy, cast SW with a skorn and LS. System snapshots. Swap to 2x 1 hander with LoH. End result, you get LS with Sweeping wind and LoH from the weapons. Profit!!!!!!!!!!!!
