Basically or in a nutshell, if your char can exceed 58.3k hp then %life is worth it otherwise don't bother.

Anyway, the max life (%) to seek for is 54% but at the expense of your total dps damage otherwise just go with 42%.

Head; 12+18=30
Shoulder; 12
Waist (optional); 12

Waist means belt so don't choose chest armor with life (%) unless it has a "permanent" fix roll such as Mempo of Twilight.

My monk is coping better with 2H 5.8% ls skorn attains 175k dps (unbuff in-game; profile not updated yet) in Act 3 (get 5nv from the Keep Depth levels can be quite challenging) mp10 solo key run. If an elite pack appears with the fast affix then my monk can equip a 2.7% ls + (radiant amethyst gem) sword and shield to deal with it.

I think there should be rare Black fist weapon (>1k dps) with cd, os and either LoH or ls available, that's the best but costly.

Just several days ago, a 98x dps specimen with the above mentioned specs was listed in gAH @ Bid 350M and no buyout.

If SoJ with Add % to cold damage property is used in conjunction with a Black weapon while making attacks with FoT -TC then the slow effect will not take place at all.

Does your monk has any other LoH gear?

I think just need one more gear with AR either The Witching Hour or Inna's Temperance to be upgraded but not so sure which to get however more likely the weakest point is the belt (but my DH certainly loves it).

Most of the monk gears have been acquired through gold generated from my own various chars loot drops sales and substantial profits from gem trading speculations as well as crafting. Since I was the only bidder who made an offer for the Mempo of Twilight @500M gold just last few seconds before expiry and won without any hassle.

Of course, there're a few gears that are listed over at RMAH and I'd engaged a professional trader to handle those for me.

Are you expecting a rich person should live moderately, instead of living a fuller life by doing the best that he/she possibly can? However, I don't agree a person who is financially better off should boast about his possessions.

One thing I've noticed is my monk loves to teleport eventhough doing so means certain death because of Fist of Thunder -Thunderclap effect.

Therefore, I've started to tinker with a few active skills in the search of gaining better char handling control and decided to settle with a build (see below) to farm for any Acts key in mp10.

Dashing Strike -Way of the Falling Star gives my monk considerable flexibility or rather, mobility to weave into and out of harms way. Fist of Thunder -Quickening produces more than sufficient spirit to spam high cost skills.

As a result, Serenity -Ascension is hardly used at all so I may just reserve its slot to Breath of Heaven -Blazing Wrath. The synergistic heavy duty dps combo of BoH -BW + BF -FitL + SW -Cyclone simply can't be ignored at all since my monk prefers 2H ls skorn.

The price of a perfect roll leoric's signet is between 120M gold (listed by professional traders) and 80M gold (listed by casual players after completion of new char L60 speedrun)

Hint: Try to buy at casual players price and then, sell at professional traders price after your new char has already completed its L60 stint.
