meh?..bro check back at AH..got this kind of shield...or better u check my D3up.com link...check the shield..thats why i never hunt for a stormshield...they are even 29% block chances + 8% block chances (affixes)...too u know...

its not a stormshield...sorry i cant give u a screen shot now and i cant get back into d3up..my office firewall have already blocked it now since lunch time already ended..

p/s: the reason i never hunt a stormshield is when i ever put in the affixes i wanted in the search box...stormshield never appears in the result lololol

heated discussions are good, i enjoy very detailed information shared during the discussion. but of course we dont expect to keep it in ur hearts.

yuhhaur, ur monk somehow became my benchmark.. i was upgrading my monk recently.
still lacking the other shenlong gloves and my inna chest.. waiting to see how much additional dps it can give me

Me think the max block chance roll for sacred shield is 20%....+ any bonus lor.

I've always wondered if the block chance is really important? Cause the block is like 3-4k damage right..? Thats a pretty small percentage from what the E dish out

I pick a shield for the Armor + AR boost it gives. CC is a must...and any main stats will be a additonal bonus.

yeah that is case i believe. just that the way sangtupperware said it also convinced/confused me 

and yes, block is really important/good, because the block amount is AFTER your damage reduction. meaning you can negate damage 100% if lets say you take 1k dmg normally (after resist/armor and other calculations), and you manage to block, you take 0 dmg in total. (it will show a big block text and no dmg taken)

granted, you cannot block everything (eg: plague, desecration, general dots/debuffs etc)

but my dps cant go beyond even 60k yet.

later post id say i spent myself 10M a few month back to buy i shield....the stats were

Block % 27
Dex 234
Vit 114
Block % 7
CC 10

the new shield just now i bought for 30M.....bought it along my trifecta gloves n witching hour...i bought the shield purposely to cover my AR loses...

provided you have 2k dex or more, cc/cd inflates dmg on your inventory the most.

case in point: i have ZERO IAS (only got 3% from enchantress lolololo) and i got ~50k unbuffed damage
