QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Nov 2 2012, 11:07 AM) certainly your DPS coop mate is not doing good enough. Everytime I coop uber, I will sure mention to my mate that "I AM NOT A DPSer, DON"T EXPECT ME TO DEAL HIGH DAMAGES" (throw the ball back to dpser) unless you got 100k dps, keep yourself as tanker on coop. Added on November 2, 2012, 11:08 amwhy spam 16% moH when you can spam 24/48% MOC? ahh i forgot to mention.. my main in MoC, but i switch to MoH to benefit generally when there's a monk on MoC in my party already.

QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Nov 2 2012, 11:23 AM) So it enrage even with a MoC monk in your party? That definitely the dpser's fault lol. lol i arranged so i was tanking with SB while the MoC is with the dpsers on kulle. which was my main problem. i was greedy on using MoH at all MP levels, no problem farming and the elites. but the moment i start tanking on uber, i regret not using MoE.

QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Nov 2 2012, 11:28 AM) normally for tanker like us with 5-60k dps, by the time ZK is gg, SB should have around 70% life in MP7. ahaahah 70% if i try to dps like crazy, i cheated on and off.. i waited for my 7ss and serenity to cd, then i switch to skorn with 100%CD gem on. and spam all crazy dps skill until i was nearly dying then jam on serenity and then switch back and wait again ... hahahhaha

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 2 2012, 12:31 PM) the only reason to use MoH is time of need +20% AR life regen and its shield boon and + 20%, has nothing to do with 16% dps increase. spamming MoH only allows higher regen, and applies a shield buff (which is mostly useless lol) read guiding light passive: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/class/monk/passive/guiding-lightso by right, MoH's HOT (healing over time) shouldn't apply. EVEN IF however it does apply, MoC still yields 24% dmg scaling and 48% upon activation, and you can still use BoH (15% urself) to add another 16% to yourself and whoever that is healed and BoH is guaranteed to work without a doubt. yea im aware of the MoC>MoH priority. im only running on that when there's already a monk in my party member because MoC doesnt stack. the healing part, the dps does increase but it's because we all spam our mantras (same way for MoC), the dps doesn't increase by the auto heal rune itself. MoH was my last priority, i never wanted to use that unless i had to. the heal is pathetic. BoH with blazing wrath does a better job for me. QUOTE(gladfly @ Nov 2 2012, 02:50 PM) Lacuni more for the MS. You really need to aim at least 22 MS....if you got Inna's giving you MS the n you can ditch lacuni. Bracers just look for rare which gives you 6% CC with highest AR. If you are a cold monk I can offer you a 6 CC, 77AR 46 Cold r and 93 Dex bracers. I think for bracers dex is capped at 200 max... i laughed at myself when i typed this but i have to say i'm a hot monk. LOLOLOL

i tried to searched for belts but witching hour looks lame to me compared to rare belts.. i find a lot of items can only allow me to stack AR+fire resist if they're RARE, anything beyond that (LEG/SET) gives high boost of main stat (DEX) but the resist part is reallllly pathetic, and if it comes with a LIIIIIITLE bit of VIT, it's gonna cost at least 200mil. thx for the quote.. up there.. really expensive for all these upgrades Added on November 2, 2012, 3:08 pmQUOTE(sangtupperware @ Nov 2 2012, 03:02 PM) actually its true?...im an arcane resist monk at first...but after a while i change to fire bcuz..well like u said above.. Â not really sure.. i thought it would help me on molten and desecrator elites because elites have quite a number of fire attribute skills , and only 1possibility of cold (freezing thingy) or 1 possibility of arcane (sentry) i can think of now i konw why i lost all my bid... u're on fire resist too jus kidding This post has been edited by paranoid: Nov 2 2012, 03:09 PM

QUOTE(Sabenarian @ Nov 5 2012, 12:06 PM) No choice bro, need keep farming...what u need is one quality drop onli...last time i also have hard time, too little gold... thanks to patch 1.05 got several quality drops... slow slow upgrade then.. Added on November 5, 2012, 12:09 pmEnvy ur Nat ring...nice stats and resist...crap NAT poison resist cost 50m+...damn...last time drop to me cold resist...sold cheap onli. still need good mempo too.. i got my ring about 70m, i sold a nat ring for 20m (that's with socket) lol... rugi lah.. but that ring wasn't that good, it has about 80dex n int, 8%ias, socket and abt 40 cold resist. but in the end it's all the same, only hardcore farmers would get rewarded with good loots, most drops are worthless my brimstones are piling up.

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Nov 6 2012, 10:09 AM) If i have such high atk speed, i'll probably use Skorn. even with high att speed, i tried using skorn, the dmg boost is unimaginable. but because my gears only have LoH and no LS, sometimes it's quite painful in high MP. also the main thing is since im so used to the speed, once i used skorn, even considered fast also no feel the syokness already .. ahahaha

im very particular to crowd control in my game.. the reason im forever stucked with cyclone strike-implosion so i can kill everything directly in front of me.
i tried to switch to FoT and i find myself teleporting too much especially if you kill fast enough, i find myself popping here and there =_=" and not to mention it has knockback effects
and anyone care to explain why FoT will give more dps over Crippling wave.
Primary FoT Generate: 6 Spirit per attack Unleash a series of extremely fast punches that deal 110% weapon damage as Lightning. Every third hit deals damage to all enemies in front of you and knocks them back a short distance. Generates Spirit faster than other Spirit-generating skills due to the high attack speed. Rune (Thunderclap) Teleport to the target and release an electric shockwave with every punch that hits all enemies within 6 yards of your primary target for 35% weapon damage as Lightning.
Primary CW Generate: 7 Spirit per attack Unleash a series of large sweeping attacks that cause 110% weapon damage to all enemies in front of you. Every third hit damages all enemies around you and dazes them, slowing their movement speed by 30% and attack speed by 20% for 3 seconds. Rune (Breaking Wave) Enemies hit by Crippling Wave take 10% additional damage from all attacks for 3 seconds.

ur mini tornadoes is from the SW skill right?
it means i have to take off cyclone strike for sweeping wind and then use FoT to combo them?
will try if it kills faster. probably it doesnt have much effect in low level MP. for e.g. if im levelling at MP1. cyclone strike and 1crippling wave kills everything in sight. sw has bigger aoe and FoT allows me to dps 2-3 mobs in front of me. scattered mobs will probably take a bit longer but i still do teleport directly to the mob becaues of FoT?
