Hahaha lucky me i just using this phone because of the camera only and normal call out. Still depended more on my n8. Thanks bro for the advice.

What to do ? That MS guy systematically screw up Nokia for years and then recently sold it off cheaply to MS.

Anyway, 808PV with symbian OS is still a good phone. Essential apps are available i.e. Whatsapp, Waze. Lots of useful 'default' widgets that I have on my home screen i.e. 3G off/on, Mobile data off/on, Mobile data tracker, mirror. Hidden functions like to on the flashlight by pushing down the screen-lock key for 3 sec.  One unique app that is not available in IOS or Android is the 'CloseAllApp' - single touch to kill all background running apps.

Im not sure if im being slowpoke or what. But i just realise the taskbar on top of the screen carries so much more functions than any other phones.

Double tap Top left - multitasking screen
Long press and release on top left - close all apps
Tap on phone signal - Interchange between 2G and 3G
Tap on top right - screen lock
Tap on battery - battery status

btw thanks guys for the opinion.actually i got my current android device..so getting it then i can send the picture i snap using the 808 n send it via bluetooth to my android device n edit it since nokia photo editor sucks and limited.plus i got bunch of 808 apps saved in my laptop since i bought it before.this time getting the beauty in red since i got it white b4.this thing is a masterpiece n will nvr be forgotten.just microsoft want people to touch their shit then stop all possibilities of dev to update or make new apps.again thanks for the brilliant opinion guys

Whatsapp working fine here but I uninstalled it due to battery drain.

Starting 2014, 808 will be dead finally. Nokia Store closing, therefore any API update for whatsapp, Facebook, etc will drive you crazy for sure. No more apps update and Symbian will die slowly but surely this year.

the blue might be due to white balance. With RAW, you can adjust them easily, while JPEG is processed and not much room for adjustment.

From the samples in L1020 thread, can clearly see the colors are too vibrant/punchy leading to unnatural colors, but people tend to like it because it sort of "pops".
L1020 with manual controls alone would already promoted it's usability factors, as a plus, the OIS.
The only issue is the "price", the phone spec isn't really good, there's limited storage available and no external storage options. Having such high megapixel camera and HD video capabilities, which purpose for photos and videos, lacking storage is a big factor, not to mention some limitation of WP in terms of files management.

Hope to see the L1020 replacement soon with most of the things improved, and priced competitively (especially since the Find 7 is now offering 50MP)
