Max is 38MP.
You need to go into Creative Mode,
Full Resolution, Aspect Ratio 4:3
*
Yes, I set it up for 38MP and the 'file size' for that pic is only 5.3MB.

Btw, do you guys experience the phone get heated up very fast when in wireless mode?? even there is only whatsapp running at the background..
*
yes, it heats up pretty fast when using 3G/WIFI. 2G is ok, not too warm and also sufficient for whatsapp.

Anyone knows why choosing JPEG Quality - Superfine increases the file size? and what is the difference between 'Superfine' and the default 'Normal'

copy paste for you from nokia

The Superfine setting gives a slightly improved photo quality compared to the Normal setting. The quality difference is very small and normally you do not even recognise the difference. With Superfine, the photo file size increases, thus taking up more memory space. The Normal setting gives the optimum JPEG quality with a reasonable file size.

great info! thanks eidda! btw, can share the link to where you get this info?

CROSS BB tripod
i think they sell it in melaka
*
I wonder if you can get it in Klang Valley? Anyone seen those Cross BB tripods in Camera shops? It is a tripod for general camera phones or point-shoot digital cameras, not a special tripod for Nokia 808 PV..

Anybody having intermittent issues with 808 PV when opening the Gallery to view your pics, all you see is a black screen? I've tried house-keeping my pics by deleting unwanted whatapp downloaded pics and default pics. It is still happening randomly. Only way now is to do a reboot.

What to do ? That MS guy systematically screw up Nokia for years and then recently sold it off cheaply to MS.

Anyway, 808PV with symbian OS is still a good phone. Essential apps are available i.e. Whatsapp, Waze. Lots of useful 'default' widgets that I have on my home screen i.e. 3G off/on, Mobile data off/on, Mobile data tracker, mirror. Hidden functions like to on the flashlight by pushing down the screen-lock key for 3 sec. One unique app that is not available in IOS or Android is the 'CloseAllApp' - single touch to kill all background running apps.
