pardon me cos' I've never been thru a formal course of multimedia b4. Therefore, I know not of the jobs scopes [i.e. the range of jobs available] that are in demand for more importantly those who would be under employment under a company followed by freelancers.

those that I've come to know is designing works for corporate identities, animations for company presentations, designing for brochures, leaflets, and other printed materials plus with designs for web and other contents in softcopy formats [for CD, DVD, and wat nots], 3D, 2D.

I am, for all this while, interested in doing sketches, drawing anything at all, be it realistic / cartoon-like works using pencils, pens.

But putting my interest aside, I would definitely like to know the job scopes available o'er here in Malaysia for one who say, have graduated from a multimedia/designing course.

Thanks all in advance for the help! smile.gif

These are the normal careers you'll find in the newspapers or some companies..

- Graphic Designers (print and now web [employers are bimbos I tell you])
- Creative Designers (that's what they called me when I was in NetInfinium)
- 2D Animators
- 3D Artist
- Creative Directors
- Art Directors
- Artists (painters..)
- Concept artist (backdrops..you know the Star Wars art book)
- Fashion Design
- Product Design

That's pretty much Arts & Design alone I guess. If you consider Multimedia.. it'll be..

- Sound Engineer
- Director

and etc..
