just a warning note, marble is really a high maintenance piece. Make sure no water stain, dont put hot items on it. daily wipe the marble.... bla bla bla
but if you really like marble, and if you got the time, find a marble piece and customize it to a table.... it will be more satisfying.....

this is my marble table, one piece marble cut to a table and an island, when side by side, can see the viens flow from one top to another.... Attached thumbnail(s)
