Did you happen to use lotion on your hands especially suntan lotion or insect repellant?

Suntan lotion and insect repellant tend to act as a solvent to cause these cracks in polycarbonate plastics. Especially on thin areas where metal is insert molded.

I am quite sure it's PC plastic material as it's painted.
