the execution way should be not finalised yet.

either way:

1) only valid at gov approved/appointed dealer/center only.

2) issuing voucher, valid to use at any dealer. the dealer need to collect the money from finance ministry later themselve.

if talk about admin efficiency, method 1 will be preferable choice.

however not being selected phone dealers out there will not be happy, but they also worried of the process claiming voucher money back from related department will take long time as well or even fake voucher problem arise.

No, definitely not. Based on the age group eligible for this program, most of them can be students or those who are not paying tax.

its only 200 discout and you will most likely to claim from tax refund which if u earn less than 3k dont need to pay yet..

besides its only for selected distributor/retailer which in turn will sell at recommended retail price. end up not so cheap n smart to get a smartphone..

yes, thats a point there. as you can see if gov intro this and make it entitled for those who earn less then rm 2.5k monthly, most east malaysian can apply for it but since the salary difference in east malaysia and west malaysia is obvious, but of course if do a comparison in living cost... then... things will become complicated
