On the flip side .. Emerald now is the cheapest of the 4 .. oversupply i guess.

must be FS ruby lolz ... RS Ruby is arnd 30-33m each

if u crafted it up to RS ruby maybe more profit as RS ruby current price is 44m each
when the AH re-opened i made a wrong investment by stocking up on FS emerald instead of ruby (i did buy a bunch of cheap RS ruby but just enough to craft RS ruby for my barb's gear)
however managed to craft all FS emerald to RS n sold em for 26-26.5m .. netting some profits

my guess is ppl cashing out the "duped" gold via gems ... rubies shot up in price eversince sum1 posted a screenshot of a player with 444beez buying 21k RS rubies

even if its cheap .. when they make the beez out of thin air its still profit for them
think about it .. they dupe billions of gold .. blizz raises the stack of gold sold in RMAH 10x, ofc the 3rd party gold seller will lower theirs more to compete ... gold loses value with each day, so either they cash out using gems (GG gears that can be bought in GAH then resold in RMAH are hard to come by these days with all the BoA from suspended account etc) @ stockpile RS gems as their new currency/long term investment.

exactly bro .. its easy to inflate the price of gem in GAH when u have lots of RS gem ...i.e post lots of RS ruby at way above market price altho u know it wont sell, will raise the overall market price & when the "small time" gem sellers follow suit by selling their RS ruby a higher price, the price spike will increase as a result.

TS got banned bcos he did it during the "dupe" fiasco ... so "in theory" he is using the AH as an investment vehicle .. plus all the gems he sold at high inflated price in GAH was bought by players using duped gold.

not-so-smart ppl would hv just sell whatever RS gems they hv in their possession n craft some more (w/out using RMAH) to sell that morning AND keep their account safe + not-so-many gold profit made .. lolz

i usually stock up FS gem when the price is arnd 5-6k each so that when RS gem price spike i will be able to sell @ 26m and above to net a profit of aprroximately 2m each RS.
the moment the RS price go above my target, i will strip the gems of my toonz and sell em.. then i take the FS gem i stocked to craft n replace it .. lolz
