No CWM Manager oso okay as long got CWM recovery. But i notice Chainfire stop built custom CWM recovery since Jellybeans release.
*
he say he tired of doing that already laugh.gif Everything have to change code after new device release.

But since we not using chainfire custom CWM which only work with cwm manager, can we use rom manager on chenglu CWM?

Sorry bro..i oso not sure since no phone cannot test anything.
From what i read..each time using Chenglu CWM..binary increase. So each time had to use TriangleAway for reset. Hope the new CWM wont break the partition again laugh.gif
*
yup.. due to note 2 new autosum bootloader sad.gif

everytime, go advance recovery, counter increase. Chainfire comment tat just have to set triangle away every time boot or set only when want go warranty. Anyway, i not sure CF "stock" recovery is different from real stock or slightly more advance smile.gif

chenglu cwm + root wont break partition again, he fixed it. This could be the reason why last time uncle benny mobileodin canot flash, stuck during flashing

mayb must ask him, more experience flasher laugh.gif or find a guinea pig to test sweat.gif

Easiest use chenglu one step only you have root n cwm
Than use triangleaway to remove flash counter
The cwm is working well n have tested backup n restore
Flashing updated official rom using odin in PC will not raise counter
If you just root using chainfire method you can use mobile odin to install chenglu cwm. That is long way no purpose as you still need to remove flash  counter
So far some xda users reported flash counter increased even using mobile odin to flash official stock rom really strange but use triangleaway to remove it
*
As long u boot to custom recovery, your flash counter will increase. The only way is to have stock recovery

True, just use chenglu root +cwm easiest. and then just add mobile odin, and set triangle away to reset upon boot.
Uncle, does triangle away work on wanamlite rom since it almost stock rom?

Just flash any country firmware that end with xxalji
Refer post 4 for link n instructions
*
uncle, want ask. Have u flash using update zip without extracting on mobile odin?

current method is to extract the update zip to get the tar.(md5) file for mobile odin, How about doing directly using zip since cf introduce it on v3.25?

Uncle, if I root my phone, I won't get OTA updates anymore right?  icon_question.gif

And if I root with CWM it will increase the binary counter?  icon_question.gif

Edit: Typo.
*
technically root should not affect OTA update. If it does, just download update-zip and flash in recovery or mobile odin

Same here.  thumbup.gif
One of the video about rooting on XDA said that after root, we won't be able to get OTA updates anymore unless install back stock recovery.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1917564

Is it possible to just root without flashing CWM together?  icon_question.gif
*
then use cf-root with root only and stock recovery

but based on user on cf-auto root. their OTA update broken

Got my Note 2 yesterday evening. A set from Turkey. And I flashed to Oct Malaysia firmware. And now it's running good. Very good performance. No lags so far after I installed about 30+ apps with 200+ pics and 10+ videos. Best phone I've ever used. Currently only using Crystal Nillkin SP for temporary protection. Waiting for SPG Glas.T or invinsible SP like u guys talked about biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

ntfs also cannot ?

*
use ext sd 2 int sd. Swap your 64gb sd card become your internal storage and the latter become external. Downside is, u canot swap your sd card anymore and use class 10 sd card

hehe, it look simple enough. I nvr tried it before so i not sure. But what i see is limitation is quite troublesome, unable to swap sd, have to use class 10 so good write/read speed, danger of sd card failing. The good side we can get up to 128gb internal storage wow and dont need to hassle to set bind using directory bind. The problem can solve by buying good sd card

then again, unsure? do nandroid backup then do. Of course, if few times error, mean there is something wrong and just restore back

anyway, when u tried app2sd, did u use the app2sd enabler?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...e=search_result

most important did u root 1st? i assuming u did b4 u use any app to sd software

well after applying it u will see a very shiny layer on top of ur screen..and the coating be more visible after 48 hours...and the surface is very very slick n smooth..doesnt effect any multitouch point/screen response is very good..its much better than Glas.T coz when applying no need to worry about mis-aligning the SP or dust got into the sp as ther is no physical SP!!! not i am saying Glas.T is not good as i also previously used Glas.T but its a hassle when it comes to applying it..and it cost u a condo lols..(jk) well seriously Glas.T is very expensive and i actually bought 2nd piece when my 1st one spoiled.for kristall its just easy as ABC..and have nothing to worry about when applying it.and i actually run some "test" such as scratch it with keys, penknives etc...and its actually is not a finger print magnet and the screen is so CLEAR...well nuf said..u should try it yourself to believe it..try contact the seller ur self maybe he will give u some kind of special price..lols..cheers rclxms.gif

u tried on your note?

According to the website, it's up to 6 months, with a recommended application every 3 months.

Then again, the bottle is expected to last 50 applications. Assuming some marketing BS, even if it lasts 30 applications, you apply 3 times a year will last you 10 years.

Sounds like a good buy.....I've bookmarked that link in anticipation of my Note2.
*
let hope your phone last 10 years like 3310! laugh.gif

Last time when s3 got released, telco companies got exclusive rights to sell s3 for about a week before any SEP. will this be the same case for the note 2? or will it be made available at both telcos and SEP
*
technically 1st to get stock is SEP and telcos. Then only normal distributor. It divided into tier system, the highest priority (the one can sell the most like telco and sep) get first. Therefore, some of the SEP already have their stock or SME set but not releasing until launch date.

The 'smear' is considered as a light leak due to the semi transparent polycarbonate plastic. Same case on my white S3
*
It beter than fruit5 light leak from the aluminum housing on the side. That due to poor built quality

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772234
*
u can flash this mod 1st
Mod for exfat Sd Card for stock kernel with init.d support
Mod for fat32 Sd Card for stock kernel with init.d support

after flash, if it doesn not work then just follow this method below;

Flash the correct mod
Install script manager from play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...51bGwsMSwyLDNd
Open script manager, click on browse as root then ok
Choose the file name 11extsd2internalsd located in /system/etc/init.d and click on Script/Executable
Now tap on Su, Boot and Save
Reboot your phone and enjoy!
