can get a cheapo Nillkin Case+SP at RM35 from tskhor. I already got it last Saturday. But the casing is not bad actually - the case's back texture feel not bad.

now confirm got white and titanium grey only. Black one maybe later, maybe no. I think S3 only have black colour for T-mobile, US. Not nice actually.

yes, got the casing and feel the rear rubberized feel texture really nice. Btw, you put on the free SP? Looks like it does not cover the front fully.

so quiet of the celcos, not a good sign. Not even a tease or registration of interest? Dun tell me celco's launch is really next week. I want to buy it this Friday too.

but sometime they will tease it with a post in their FB page, at least will show the date of launching without indicate pricing or bundle first. Or just showing registration of interest since Samsung Malaysia already announced the official launch day is Oct 11. I think there is normally some tease or some indication when will be the celco's launch date. This time it is too quiet...... or is it us who are too anxious

Added on October 9, 2012, 9:22 amnot really, like Benny said, some just cannot accept the screen size. One of them is my wife, she still prefer her S3, saying its screen size is just nice. She find S3's screen quite "big" coz she upgraded from 3.7" HTC Desire.

you just need to compare the price of S3 during launch and now. I think it will be more or less the same reduction as the time frame is also 3 months plus.

Launching is confirmed by Samsung Malaysia to be on Oct 11. Now the problem is no leak/tease/whatever info from telcos.

Some bro posted DiGi has book a venue in KL for roadshow from 11-14 Oct. But that is the only hint/info we got and there is no other collaborative news to back it up yet.

HK is consider AP set here. No international warranty. We dunno whether it is cheaper or not coz Samsung Malaysia not yet announce the local price. But since the local AP set prices are drop close to RM2k now, i doubt HK set can be cheaper by a lot. At least buying local AP set will give you local AP warranty, some up to 2 years. If got problem can go back to them. HK? Only if you go there often for business.

benny, can the Note II be charged by S3/Note charger that charging at 1.0A? Got a 5000mA Sanyo power bank lying around that can only charge at 1.0A, hopefully still usable. Thanks.

i scare it is like Tab that need a 2.0A charger. Power bank with 1.0A will not charge a Tab.

i also decided to just get the SGP leather case with Glas.T for Note II - that's it. Will recycle my 32GB Sandisk microSD. I think the OTG cable still can be used on Note II, right? Only the MHL cable not compatible.

sigh... i think hope for this week's telcos' launch is getting slimmer. Not a single news/ads/leak 48hours before SME announcement? Unbelievable. Last hope is tomorrow - if there is some ads in the newspaper tomorrow by Telcos, then ok. Else, high possibility no telcos launching this week.

yes, agree. No need to compare a phone by marketing genius to another phone full of useful features. Those who has been brainwashed will always stick to their master. I am not geek or nerd but i only believe in values - whoever make a good phones with features that i need at a reasonable price, get my money. That's it, plain and simple.

Apple has been successful in keeping their platform closed. So it is not an easy decision to jump to other platform if the users has invested in the contents (itunes) and apps. If not becoz of this, i believe its market share will dip even faster. Apple users dun jump ship not becoz they are loyal, it is just because of the money they invested in Apple platform. Many of my IP4S friends/colleagues that have not been invested in Apple platform have no hesitation at all to jump to Android by getting S3 few months ago. Many of them have been iphone user since IP3.

can't blame them - most of my friends/colleagues jump over from Apple mentioned that they have to get used to the more complicated system in Android. They are just overwhelmed by all the customisation of android. But after a week or 2, they are comfortable with it. IOS is more like a car with auto-transmission while for Android, most of the things are in Manual mode. So between auto and manual, each have their supporters. My wife's lady boss thinking of getting S3 as her children all jump ship to S3 already from iphone but i advise her not to, better stay with iphone as more suitable for her.

yalor, it is crazy to launch them together. I doubt Apple will agree to that. Coz after ppl feel the Note II, they will be shock to see the 4" screen of the IP5. Even my wife's S3 has a bigger screen.

one bro here just bought it for RM210. It is very near to cost price from local distributor already. It is better to buy local - i have RMA a few pieces of the 32GB and 64GB of Sandisk Mobile Ultra Class 10 out of about 50 pieces that i sold.
