Hey guy, want to ask something about this Maxis Business Internet Plan using a Modem.

This plan does come with SMS and Voice call which is PAYU. So it basically workable putting the sim in a HP. But what if I take out this Sim and put it in a Modem with SMS capability. Now my HP without a Sim should connect to the Modem by Wifi right. Then I can straight SMS through the HP?? I confuse about this, anyone mind to explain??

Then another case, I'm using iPhone 4 at the moment with this plan using my old sim which is 3G capable. Sometimes use the phone as hotspot for more than few hours and feel like it making my phone battery weaker. Possible for me to do the following??:-
1. The old sim 3G still intact in the phone.
2. Get myself a new Sim(for the same plan) and put it in a modem.
3. Activate the new Sim.
4. Use the HP as usual, while the modem is turn off.
5. When night time, turn off the phone and use the modem as hotspot instead of the iPhone.

Will this workable?

if you sim card put into modem you can't using hp sms anymore, once your new sim card activated ; your old sim card will become inactive status and can't make call & sms
