hmm... I dont really know how to do it though. Just adjust the lighting that's all. Will have do some learning on that.

Pangkor Laut resort? WOW!! Heard that they have jacuzzi in every room that opens up to the open sea. Have any shots in the room on that?
Your pics will definately get better shot after shot. In the mean time, just enjoy as you go along. Do post more, because you'll learn from the comments you'll receive. I am still in the learning process  My D70s is only 3 months and 5 days old today |

for the macro shot. I use my humble Sony P-10. Macro setting. That's all.
I do want to own a DSLR, but it's way too expensive for me. as for the holiday photos, i am using Canon ixus-55. thanks for the good comments. guys... I will continue to improve my shooting skills and bring in nice photos. |

Back to basics. Just got a new camera and now shooting again. It will take me some time to become like WildPiew and gang. Just bare with me my noob shots ya! Please feel free to scold me if I done anything wrong ya.  baby rambutan  orchid plant that has no leave, just traying out shooting with "A" mode  anyone know what name is this flower?  cute flowers in my garden  bell of prosperity  "pig cage flower" I just got the camera and now spending some time shooting around with various apertures settings. Will place more photos up when I get some nice histogram-ed pictures and also. |

baby rambutan is nice.
the orchid.. abit hard the see.. without any title the viewer wouldnt know what to look for should close up more on the next two flower shots the chime/bell is a little over exposed close up abit more but this is just personal taste. why give the subject so much space when it doesnt need it? happy shooting! keep it up |

Hi guys, new update from me again... This time it's add little twist to it. I have found a 'hidden treasure' of my dad. His DSLR camera filters. I got my hands on a piece of (+3) close up filter. Here are the shots taken by it. I think either my hand is shaky or there seems to be some angel ring around the objects I focused on. Check it out and shoot some comments and suggestions on how I should take it next time around ya! Thanks!

I realised where i got it wrong adi. I processed it in RAW format. I forgotten to sharpen the picture a lil bit. That's why it's so soft...
Sorry about that, my mistake. More to come... I will show u my lily shots first... Butterfly Park shots need to do some research on the "leveling" first before posting. thanks clemong_888! |

Small apertures (high f/-numbers) increase depth of field, bringing both the main subject and background into focus. Large apertures (low f/-numbers) soften background details. my 2cents. |

sorry.I am trying to use a close up lense... But it states that "The reduction of aperture by 2 to 3 steps is recommended." if I am using it with my current lense. What does it means? bringing the aperture smaller/bigger? 1 step is qual to how many points in F value? That's what I am looking for |

hey aaron, thanks. Yeap used the +3 close up filter. I think the aperture is out. Pointed out by other LYN members. I will be testing out new aperture setting with that close up lense.

from you. But i havent decide which dslr to buy, D70s look very nice but only 6.1mp, D80 will out of budget. Not much ppl used canon 350d here, canot do comparison. hahahaha .. |
