we can come out for a shooting together then we can discuss about the colour schemes that each camera has and it's difference.. Like me, I always shoot with wildpiew with his olypus E-1 which colours is SUPERB vivid... really no fight at all eventhough i try to spike all the settings up to the highest. Still cannot get that effect. "Accept your camera, then it will accept you as well" hahaha... to produce some nice composition pictures and share with others. I am new too and learning. Got my first DSLR at october... learning curve is small because like u said, I am working. Photography is my hobby and interest. I am pursuing it during my free time, learning, advancing, mastering it. We can share knowledge together, although we are not using the same brand of camera. Each camera got it's own style and colours. And not every photographers has the same 'feel' and 'mood' about their photos. MUST KNOW THAT.


50mm F1.8 to me is a value-for-money lense. Cost less, compare to the other lenses, have a very wide aperture (1.8) and can produce stunning pictures. Give it a try if you got the spare cash to spend. If not, master your kit lense first. It is quite sufficient for the moment, until u move to the next level. Just my 2 cents... I am still in the process of mastering my available lenses... But i got 'poison' by macro lenses now... trying to save up some money to get me a new macro/mikro lense.
