QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Dec 13 2012, 04:42 PM) yeah think 4GB of ram shud be sufficient. hmmm....ok....still looking for wireless gaming mouse any recommendation?you are using autocad as well? hahha yeah i know what you mean bro. and razer chrome has a shiny surface, not the matte one that the normal orochi has. been using the chrome one for about half a year now. so far no prob, and alot less sticky and stains on it than the matte one. i owned the matte one before buying this chrome one. the matte one scroll spoilt but i really like the orochi so i got the chromed one as a replacement. been surfing me pretty well so far. |

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Dec 15 2012, 03:23 PM) 4gb definitely enough a sand paper? r u serious???not sure about PES performance though. games on OSX wont run as smooth as in windows. sometimes even windows pc with lower spec can run games faster. yeah my normal orochi got really sticky too. cleaning wont do anything...a sandpaper did |

guys i wanna ask i'm currently using MBP Retina 2012 which don't come with a optical cd bay.
the question is can i use normal external optical drive or i must use Apple USB SuperDrive ? Added on December 19, 2012, 12:06 pm QUOTE(mfitri77 @ Dec 19 2012, 07:39 AM) The 2.0 update popped up for my Macbook, and after installing it, noticed that my cMBP 13" HD4000 ram allocation went up from 384MB to 512MB on a 4GB system. The OS number is now 12C3012. i don quite understand the 2.0 update and ram allocation. Question : Anyone with a 16GB or 8GB system installed the 2.0 update? If so, what is the ram allocation for HD4000 now for your system? Obviously, I am asking Ivy Bridge owners here. yes i'm a Ivy Bridge use on MBP Retina This post has been edited by goner: Dec 19 2012, 12:06 PM |

Since most projectors comes with VGA connectors. Now confirm mini display works. it work but using projecter to ur mac is really a pain in the assthere's 3 kind 1. mini display port to VGA 2. mini display port to DVI 3. mini display port to HDMI i'm sure all machine sure have |

The cheapest model Macbook Air 11" Can we connect it with a HDMI to an external LCD or LCD TV? And also can we connect it with a external wireless keyboard/mouse? if you wanna get a mac book air 11 and wanna use external screen, u cna get the mini display port to VGA/DVI/ HDMI ( not sure it's available in malaysia) for the mini display port to VGA/ DVI port cost RM99 at any mac store. i personally do own 1. but PLEASE get a REAL lcd monitor if you wanna enjoy the screen of mac. if you wanna utilise the HDMI might as well get the MBP QUOTE(menmissed @ Dec 24 2012, 06:55 PM) student price is only available when you purchase online WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE if you purchase it at storeApple Mac Book Student Pricing QUOTE(da drummer @ Dec 24 2012, 08:02 PM) R those seller in garage section same as apple reseller?i mean no such thing as clone@whatever?haha..sori..nerves i hardly think there are clone even thought i have no idea how to identify it. if you wanna know whether the package is untouched wince shipment. check the seal plastic around the laptop wrap. for me i personally rather go the store to get 1 myself. i don wanna risk all these things. but that's just me. it's up to you This post has been edited by goner: Dec 25 2012, 01:14 AM |

QUOTE(edge85 @ Dec 25 2012, 09:36 PM) I will just do a full cycle charge once a month. Regardless of usage. so just leave it plug in all the time has no problem?Even so, my battery is now at 89% (iStatPro) at 5144mAh. Mid 2012 MBP 13 model. and do 1 full cycle charge once month? i'm quite confused about mac book battery i only had my mac book for 12 weeks only and the battery load cycle is 76 Current capacity is 8187mAh Design Capacity is 8460mAh so the best way is leave it plug in all the time or keep on doing full cycle? battery from 100% to 1% then charge fully is 1 cycle or 2 cycle? battery form 100% to 50% then charge up to 100% is 1 cycle or 2 cycle? QUOTE(menmissed @ Dec 31 2012, 09:53 AM) anyway, i bought d. I'm using MBP Retina 2012. mainly usage : Autocad 2013, Photoshop CS6.any sifu here can share what to do with a new mac? any essential software or any useful setting? in order to maximise battery, I turned off iCloud and backlit keyboard. only use Autocad 2013 and iTunes, at 70% brightness, backlight keyboard off. manage to get 5 hours from it ( same apply to photoshop ) 7 hour battery life is meant for normal web browsing ( not you tube ) at 50% bightness. i manage to get 8 hour from it. it really depend how to use your machine. also plug in your ac adapter when you near a wall plug. Software using : Autocad 2013, Sketch Up Pro 8, Photshop CS6, Microsoft Office 2011, MPlayerx & VLC ( for video ), Final Cut Pro X, Apps using, Coconut Battery ( info on battery ), Memory Clean ( clean up the memory ), UnRarX welcome to mac family mate!!! |

QUOTE(menmissed @ Dec 31 2012, 11:17 AM) Actually, main use for my MBA is Lightroom + CS6 (light use only), but it depends on my own shooting day. Normal day would be only surfing and some routine work job. Mine is only 13 weeks old. my battery is 98%. it's normal. just plug in when there's a socket nearbybased on my yesterday experiences, after i off iCloud and backlit keyboard, 50% brightness, I can see the different of battery usage. My MBA is new, but it only have 97% under battery health of iStat pro? |

QUOTE(menmissed @ Dec 31 2012, 04:26 PM) According to some articles and some commets, do not let the battery drop below 20% (if not doing cycle), is it right? i was confused as you last time. but i asked on macbook community forum.they says that keep plug in when u are at home or you're neat to a wall socket. the battery itself will stop charging. if u click on the batt. you will see power source : power adapter. If we do cycle only charge from below 20% to Max, once a month, right? So, normal use at home, just plug it? Sometime a bit confuse when they say plug it when you near to plug, but not most of the time. What if most of the time i use at home and near to wall plug? Am i going to plug in all the time? a full cycle must be done once a month. mean form 100 % to 20% is 1 cycle.... |
