Maxis Step By Step Master Reset Maxis Thomson Router, Maxis Home Fibre

Kindly try to follow the steps below to perform Master Reset


1. Using a pin or paper clip, press reset on Residential Gateway (RGW) router.

2. Go to page 192.168.1.254

3. Click Thompson Gateway

4. Click Setup my Thompson Gateway

5. Click Next

6. Select a service HSI (GPON) + VOIP click next

7. Key in Username

- Home IP: ModemID@home.maxis.com.my

- Public IP: ModemID@public.maxis.com.my

- Password: ModemID + 1 (example: 756215 + 1)

** Your ModemID is listed in your bill statement **

8. Click Next

9. In the Access Network box selection;

- Choose Maxis (if you are using a Maxis modem which is black in color)

- Choose TM (if you are using a TM Modem)

10. Click Next

11. At the Wi-Fi Hotspot selection, proceed to click Next

12. Click Start rclxm9.gif

Setting for VOIP Phone

You may follow the steps below to configure your VOIP gateway

1. Open the Web browser, enter 192.168.1.254

2. Click on "Toolbox"

3. Click on "Telephony"

4. Click "Configure" on the page

5. Ensure that the STATUS and REGISTER indicates OK [ V ]

6. Click EDIT

7. You need to re-enter the VOIP phone number and the PASSWORD and click Apply

8. Example:

- Your Maxis Home Fibre phone number : 0312345678

PUT YOUR -->
- Username: 0312345678
- Password: 0312345678 + 1
- Confirm Password: 0312345678 + 1
- Abbreviated Number : leave it blank
- Port : All

the configuration still usable now (2016)?
i means hv anything changes from maxis?
another question is:3rd step wrote "click Thompson gateway",it suitable for all kind of router?coz mine not Thompson's brand.

This is how I untick IPv6 and problem solved.

Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Click the Connections Maxis Fibre Internet > Properties > untick IPv6 > Ok

Anyone can help me with step by step factory reset for the new maxis router tplink black one. My settings kaput out of a sudden. Thank.you.
