The GPU of the 14R SE is better than the GT630M in the G580 nod.gif

Apart from the G580, you can consider this one as well nod.gif
15.6"
Dell Inspiron 15R, i5-3210M + AMD HD7670M@RM1899[2.65kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm)

caz Im now using Dell studio 1555... kinda reluctant to take Dell... caz its build nt as solid as Asus or Lenovo (currently I dont knw did they upgrade their build or not)...
I wan a solid laptop than can last better... of course I knw there is no such things as solid except business line laptop...
how bout asus? nothing near tht price?

Whether a laptop lasts long or not depends very much on how you take care of your laptop (and folding 24/7 does not help at all laugh.gif)
Can consider these two:
14"
Asus A45VS-VX026H, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT640M@RM2199[2.4kg], 2GB, 1TB, W8

Dell Inspiron 14R (Special Edition), i5-3210M + Nvidia GT640M(28nm Kepler)@RM2049[2.38kg], 4GB, 500GB(7200rpm), W7HP/W8

haha... how bout g580 or g480?
or maybe acer v3 471g...
personally I trust Asus quality... but its price kinda steep.... so im wondering any other brand can match Asus quality?
Lenovo? Acer heard that improved alot... now even sharing same SC with Asus... am I right?

Look for good warranty support rather than perceived "long lasting" and reported "quality".
Statistically there are bound to be "lemon" for any brand, no matter how good the quality control.
We don't want to be the unlucky one (touch wood), but if, just if .... good warranty support could still save the day. Dell and slightly lesser extent Lenovo on-site support is good in Malaysia. (Can personally vouch for them)
Asus ... there are lots of bad experience shared by users. Search in LYN and sweat.gif
Cannot comment about Acer or Toshiba. But I just prefer technician come to me, rather than my bringing the machine to service centre  laugh.gif
