My requirements are as follows :
Brand : anything except Acer
Budget : around 3K
Usage : surfing, live streaming of sports events e.g. BPL, IAAF; online videos and movies, online music (watching & downloading), online stocks and other financial applications
Screen : around 15"
I'm not tech savvy and used the laptop for work previously; now retired and doing own agency work.
Would greatly appreciate your advice and recommendation, including where I can go to get good deals.

How much Ram would I need? Which of these two are more reliable/hardy - I want to use this laptop for 3 to 5 years. Any particular place to get it from and what about warranty?
