QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Nov 27 2012, 04:33 PM) Official local Lenovo Y580 is RM3k. Its the best for that price, if you can afford it, the its the one to go for. One step down would be the Asus N56 15.6" Asus N56VZ-S3151H, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT650M@RM2799[2.7kg][B&O], 4GB, 750GB, W8; color: black I found a seller in LYN selling it for 2699 for the 1080p version.. Performance between GTX660m and GT650 very big? what about the i7 vs i5? Y480 better or the Asus N56 u recommend?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Nov 27 2012, 10:18 PM) RM2699 for the Full HD i7 version? 2nd hand right? The performance difference is not very big The i5 is already enough for games, go for i7 only if you are doing intensive rendering, simulations etc. The Y480 comes with an i7 processor, so the CPU performance is better than the i5 in the N56 (i5) variant.. but it depends on whether you need the i7 or not. Otherwise no real point in choosing the Y480 over the N56. *I'm assuming portability is not a problem for you It's actually 2899 and the seller don't provide any extra things like bags .. it says new unit though. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2401654Don't really like the design of the Asus.. i think gonna go for Y480 or Y580. Thanks anyways
