Hello! My friend is looking for a laptop and I'm stumbled upon this wonderfull thread. So do please help my friend n me.

1. Preferred Brand - Any
2. Budget - Around 1.5-1.7k
3. Usage - Documentation, presentation with projector, internets (of course) and other usual office works. Gaming is plus point if can fit in the budget.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - any as long as mobile and it is light to carry around.

between g480 with acer v3..which one better??

i'm looking for one of those new hybrids with touch PC.

Don't want windows RT, at least a full windows 8 on an atom processor but would love something better,

currently have my eyes on acer iconia w700, is there any other touchy-touchy PC that offer better bang for the bucks?

same ol', lenovo y580. gtx660m will come in handy

I guess with my budget I can't expect much lol ( But will it be good enough for surfing net, listening songs and playing videos (i youtube a lot) and playing games... just simple games, nothing high quality and high performance... mostly hidden object games and others lol....

and gateway is unpopular?
