Ultrabooks are not exactly very good for autocad hmm.gif

Although entry-level GPUs do not bring about very significant performance difference to AutoCad performance, its still better to try to go for the most powerful one that you can get for your budget nod.gif
In which's case, this:
15.6"
Asus N56Vz-S3088V, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT650M@RM2699[Bang&Olufsen], 4GB, 750GB, W7HP, subwoofer and backpack

Although having an i7 and a good GPU would be even better brows.gif
14"
Lenovo
Y480(5934-7549), i7-3630QM + Nvidia GT650M (GDDR5) @RM2599 [JBL], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), backlit keyboard, freeDOS, 2 yrs warranty, P950 headset
Y480(5934-1372), i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650(GDDR5)@RM2699[JBL], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), backlit keyboard, W7HB, 2 years international warranty

Most people who want something lightweight and thin will not go for a 15.6" notebook laugh.gif
those who do have deep pockets - MBP 15 with retina display.
Ever since Dell decided not to bring in the XPS 15, there are not much lightweight 15" notebooks anymore... at least not for now...
There are upcoming ones though ~

Yeah, can consider that one hmm.gif
Its not exactly very powerful in terms of CPU performance and battery life is not very good, but still not bad I guess

Just go for the laptop that you like the most? laugh.gif
You could always upgrade the HDD to SSD yourself in the future, so there's not too much of a problem there nod.gif

1. Preferred Brand : None
2. Budget: 2k-3k (prefer as little as possible)
3. Usage: Portable, Documentation, Engineering software, Light gaming, Movie
4. Preferred size: 14", 15" if it is not too bulky

Sidenote:
1. Prefer ultrabook as it fits in the usage. But open for suggestion.
2. Prefer reliable and long lasting and future proof. As the laptop user only will change the laptop if it is non-functional.
3. Deadline = 20th December. So upcoming models is strongly recommended.

My own research was narrowed down to HP Envy 4-1053TX.

Recommendations, come at me!

Hai, i am new here.

Looking for a laptop mainly for gaming for the upcoming blockbusters games like COD:BO2, AC3, RE6 and my budget is around RM3000.

I've done a lot of survey, so far the only laptop that fits my budget will be Y580 right?

Or any other good suggestion?
