what your gf gonna do with it? i assume pretty much basic task is it, girl will love 14z imo, plus the performance diff between i3 and i5 maybe is not quite needed by your gf. btw i thought u said u already ordered it?

Otherwise I would suggest the S400 instead, much nicer looking, especially for a girl

I checked online about the dell inspiron 15r but I cant find the same spec in www.dell.com.my, they have some better spec which is much more higher price...
and i found it in dell's other country website,so i want to ask if i want to online order that laptop what website should i visit?

As a user myself, having a standard notebook with a good screen, a fast CPU, a lot of RAM and a fast HDD will increase performance the most
But most lightweight notebooks don't offer these unfortunately, so you'll have to compromise abit

Btw, don't mind me if i ask, what's the difference between i5 and i7? Does it affect the speed of software usage much between i5 & i7) ?

There are 2 versions of processors:
-Normal processors
- ULV processors (weaker processors to reduce power consumption, hence longer battery lives)

The one I've recommended to you runs on a normal processor, which will be more effective at photo rendering and stuffs. The faster 7200rpm HDD will also be better for faster program and photo load times

i5 are basically dual core processors; whereas i7 are generally quad core processors.
Quad core i7s are more powerful at calculations and multitasking, but generates more heat and consumes more power
